PHILOSOPHY

FUN TOWN CHILDCARE CENTRE believes that

CHILDREN are unique and have potential to construct their own learning to communicate and interact with others. The center seeks to provide a challenging environment, which will promote an active learning, democratic freedom, multiculturalism, and a sense of responsibility, self-confident and healthy individual. 

PARENTS are partner and active participants in their children’s education and care. There fore, our program takes into consideration the family’s culture, beliefs and values. Families/guardians have the right to an open communication between the center and staff. They are entitled to be involved in and be informed of the daily program of the center as essential to providing high -quality care.

STAFF is a resource, nurturer and a partner and entitled to open communication, performance reviews, recognition of the value of their work, opportunities for professional development, and direct input into making decisions. By working as a team, the staff will help the children to develop their identity and confidence.

COMMUNTIES is a resource that provides fun learning environment. We believe relationships with community to promote child’s discovery divergent experience and develop their sense of belongings. It will provide opportunities towards field trips and invite local guest speakers as a resource to children and parents.

Fun Town Childcare Center believes that children need the guidance and freedom and emotionally secure environment where they can feel comfortable to explored and experiment with various learning materials and activities. The children are entitled to programs that would promote opportunities and experiences that inspire a child’s physical, intellectual, emotional, social and creative development skills.
